I'm Located 1/4 mile from the Gulf of Mexico. And miles from the Clearwater Beach.

My ground elevation is 35 feet above sea level or (23.352 meters) high. I'm a transplant from Middlefield Ohio . Been in Florida since 1995. Every thing I need to operate is at my fingers here in my compact station. I live in a Mobil Home Park with a small lot but all works great for me. We do what it takes to make it work that's why we are Hamís.

Hello dear friends & welcome, my name is "Jim"  I'm 72 years old, on air since 1984, I live near Clearwater Florida on the West coast, the city is called Dunedin I'm 35 feet above sea level. I'm about 1/4 mile from the Gulf of Mexico ? I'm active of 160 to 6m, in SSB, CW, Hellschreiber, PSK, RTTY, OLIVA, DSTAR, DMR, FUSION, JT65, JT9, and more?

My rigs, Flex 5000 , Icom IC-7100 , Yaesu FT-950.

I run the  7100 with Dstar using a closed loop system with a Raspberry Pi and DV-Mega board, or  a DV4 Mini for Dstar and DMR when on RF I use a Hometek model HTEK combo beam 2 meter 400 single coax feed. Also run Fusion with a Yaesu FTM 400DR, Microphone are, Audio Techninica , Heil PR-781 ,HM-12 ,Icom SM-8, Icom HM-151 and a Icom SM-30 and a old D104.

ON HF I use a Flex 5000 or my old FT-950 and my IC-7100

And the Amplifier is an Ten Tec Titan 425 Gold Legal Limit Plus amplifier .Only 50 made this is serial number 11.  The tubes are 3CX800A each tube can put out over 1000 watts..

ZeroFive Vertical antenna 13.106 meters tall 43 foot ground mounted, with 32 ground wires for the counter pois, For wire antenna I run either W5GI Mystery Ant, or G5RV full size. On 6 Meter I run a Cushcraft AR-6 vertical. No interface or USB on The Flex I run  Virtual Audio from the rigs, with HRD and DM 780.

All Coax is LMR 400 or 9913 , All antenna have Alpha Delta Surge Protectors.

 HOUSE AND STATION GROUNDING

For the Mobil I run a Icom ID-880H 2 meter 440 along with Dstar.

Every thing I need to operate is at my fingers here in my compact station. I live in a Mobile Home Park with a small lot but all works great for me. We do what it takes to make it work that's why we are Ham's. l am Still building and putting my station together , how about you? I believe that a station never gets finished because it grows like the operator. A station is only as effective as its antenna system.

My QTH got smaller antennas are now hidden in trees. But if your looking me up I guess the radio and antenna's are working.  Been a ham for about 30 plus years.

And what started all this was a pair soup cans and the string from Cub Scouts then came a Fox Hole WWII receiver in a Cigar Box ( I still have it ). That's what started me in the world of receiving combination.

Please don't forget our Native American's for their help in WW II . They were called the Wind Talkers , they saved a lot for GI's lives through radio commutations with their native tongue.

Flex 1500 QRP rig I use on Digital modes operation such as BPSK31, JT65, MFSK16 and RTTY, also traditional AM, CW and SSB mode operation. I like QRP mode.

 I use a Daiwa CN-801 Watt meters 1.8 to 200Mhz.

Two Meter I run a Icom IC-271A and a KL-145 amp . The antenna is a Diamond F23H put about 50 feet.

Been a ham for about 30 plus years. On May 2, 2012 finally got my Extra Ticket.

My HF Antennas: Ground Mtg. MULTIBAND 51 feet Modified VERTICAL by ZeroFive ,with 36 ground wires , or a Windom for 10 - 80 meters, and a Cushcraft AR 10 for 10 meters .Copper J-Pole for 6 meters made out of 3/4" copper water pipe I have had some Older radio's like a National NC-125, Mammerlund HQ-160, Hallicrafters S-22R.

l am Still building and putting my station together , how about you? I believe that a station never gets finished because it grows like the operator. A station is only as effective as its antenna system. My QTH got smaller antennas are now hidden in trees. But if your looking me up I guess the radio and antenna is working.
